1. What do I have to do to join the Company? - Click here and print out an Application Form through your browser. - Fill in the Application Form and forward it to our Membership Secretary. - You will then be contacted and invited to audition to join the Company. - For the audition you will need to sing a song and perform a piece of libretto. Audition pieces are available for download from here. If you are a male and are interested in auditioning, please click here, and if you are a female and are interested in auditioning, please click here. - After the audition we will inform you whether your application has been successful. ______________________________________________________________________________________ 2. On which nights do the Company rehearse? Chorus rehearsals: Monday Evenings from early November at Wollescote Primary School, Stourbridge. Principal rehearsals: Thursday Evenings from early November at Norton Community Centre, Stourbridge. During December, principal and chorus rehearsals are joint and take place on Monday and Thursday Evenings and on Sunday Mornings in January at Wollescote Primary School, Stourbridge. NB: Dancing rehearsals are by arrangement. In the week prior to the pantomime opening in January rehearsals are each night from Tuesday to Friday at Stourbridge Town Hall Theatre. ______________________________________________________________________________________ 3. How much are subscriptions? Please see the Membership Page, by clicking here. Subscriptions are subject to review at AGM's but any changes are agreed twelve months before implementation. ______________________________________________________________________________________ 4. How many members are there? There are 186 members at present - which includes: 146 - Family Members 035 - Adult Individual Members 005 - Junior Members ______________________________________________________________________________________ 5. How much does it cost to put on a show? Over the last five years of pantomime productions an average of £35,000 has been spent on productions - that's £175,000 in five years!! ______________________________________________________________________________________ 6. How many children/young persons take part in the pantomimes? It depends on the pantomime being presented - for example, in "Babes in the Wood" in January 2007 we had 25 young people under the age of 16. But, for "Aladdin" in January 2008 we only had 15 young people in the pantomime. The minimum age to join the society is 8 years and children must join with a parent or legal guardian.
